Microsoft Excel + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM writes Microsoft Excel .xlsx files itself for documents, reports and any list, and imports clients and deals from a workbook. Through Microsoft Graph, Krokul also keeps a table in an Excel workbook on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint current, row by row, as deals close and payments arrive.

  • Built inPart of Krokul itself, for example Gmail, Google Drive or the Claude connector. You turn it on in the product.
  • Via API and webhooksYou connect it with the Krokul app in an automation platform, the public API and signed webhooks. The page lists the steps for this service.

What your team gets

An invoice as a workbook for the client

A client wants the lines of an invoice to load into their own system. The document card exports a .xlsx with the parties, lines, totals, VAT and amount due, built from the same data as the printed form. Access follows the same rule as printing.

Any list straight to .xlsx

Client companies, contacts, deals, payments, products, tasks and documents export to .xlsx with the current filters and columns. Numbers stay numbers, dates stay dates, and the header row names the filters, so a file opened a week later still says what it contains.

A live payments table in Excel

Finance keeps a receipts workbook on SharePoint. After you connect it, every payment recorded in Krokul adds a row to the Payments table in that workbook with the client, amount, currency and deal. A refund updates the same row, so each payment keeps one line.

Moving in from a workbook

A team that tracked clients in Excel uploads the .xlsx into the Krokul migration wizard. The wizard maps columns to client companies, contacts or deals, runs a dry run first and takes up to 20,000 rows per run.

How to connect today

Built-in files

  1. Open a document, report or list and choose the Excel export. The .xlsx downloads to your computer.
  2. To import, start the migration wizard, upload the .xlsx and run the dry run before the import.

Native connection to Excel for the web

  1. In the Marketplace choose Microsoft Excel and sign in with a Microsoft work account.
  2. Pick a workbook on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint and a table, or let Krokul create the table with its columns.
  3. Choose which events add rows: payments, won deals, paid invoices. Run the test; the sync journal shows each row and any error.

Questions and answers

Can Krokul CRM export to Excel?

Yes. Documents, reports and every list download as .xlsx with the current filters.

Can I import my client list from Excel?

Yes. The migration wizard takes .xlsx, .csv or .tsv files up to 5 MB and 20,000 rows per run, with column mapping and a dry run.

Does Krokul update a workbook in OneDrive by itself?

Yes. Through the native connection, Krokul adds and updates rows in the table you connect when payments arrive or deals close.

Is this the same as the Google Sheets export?

No. Excel files download to your computer or live in OneDrive and SharePoint; the Google Sheets export creates a spreadsheet in Google Drive.

Limits

Krokul writes only to the tables you connect and never changes formulas, charts or other sheets of the workbook. Workbooks for the live connection live in OneDrive for Business or SharePoint, where Microsoft Graph can reach them.
