Power BI + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM has a Power Query connector for Power BI. In Get Data you choose Krokul, paste an API key and pick reports or registers, and Power BI loads them as tables that refresh on schedule. For live tiles, Krokul events push rows into a Power BI semantic model through the Krokul app in Zapier.

  • Via API and webhooksYou connect it with the Krokul app in an automation platform, the public API and signed webhooks. The page lists the steps for this service.

What your team gets

A sales model with deals, payments and documents

The Krokul connector shows a navigator with Krokul objects. You tick deals, payments and documents, and Power BI loads them as related tables keyed by the deal ID. A measure then compares signed amounts with money received by month and by manager.

Krokul reports as ready tables

The navigator also lists the Krokul reports for stage conversion, time on stage, DSO and ABC and XYZ segments. Each loads as a table calculated by the Krokul server, so the Power BI report shows the same numbers as the Krokul dashboard.

Scheduled refresh in the Power BI service

After you publish the report, an on-premises data gateway with the Krokul connector refreshes the semantic model on schedule. The connector reads changed records page by page and respects the Retry-After header when Krokul asks it to slow down.

A live tile of payments received

The Krokul trigger Payment Received starts a Zap, and the Microsoft Power BI action Add Dataset Row adds the amount and currency to a push semantic model. A pinned dashboard tile updates as soon as the row arrives.

How to connect today

Krokul connector in Power BI Desktop

  1. Download the Krokul connector file and place it in the Power BI Desktop custom connectors folder, then allow custom connectors in the data extension security options.
  2. Create a Krokul API key with read scope for the objects you report on.
  3. In Power BI Desktop, open Get Data, choose Krokul and paste the key.
  4. Tick the objects and reports in the navigator and load them.

Refresh in the Power BI service

  1. Load the Krokul connector into an on-premises data gateway, add Krokul as a data source with the same key, and set the refresh schedule of the semantic model.

Questions and answers

Is there a Krokul connector for Power BI?

Yes. The Krokul Power Query connector appears in Get Data once installed, and it loads Krokul objects and reports as tables.

How often can the report refresh?

Microsoft allows up to eight scheduled refreshes a day on shared capacity and up to 48 on Premium. Each refresh reads Krokul again through the gateway with your key.

Which Krokul reports can I load?

Stage conversion, average time on stage, DSO, ABC and XYZ segments, discipline, and any source, measure and dimension from the Krokul report engine.

Can the Power BI report show data a user cannot see in Krokul?

The report shows what the Krokul key in the data source can read. Pick a key whose role and scope match the audience, and use row-level security in Power BI for finer splits.

Limits

The connector reads Krokul data and does not write back. Microsoft keeps the creation of new push semantic models open until October 31, 2027, so live tiles from events suit short-term monitoring more than long-term models.
