Your data is yours: API, export and rollback from day one

Any list exports to Google Sheets or Docs, contacts to vCard, and the API returns everything the interface shows. Moving away from Krokul needs nobody’s permission.

Available on the free Deals plan, 100 transactions per month

What it looks like without Krokul

  1. The previous CRM only exported data “on request to support”, and only on an expensive plan. The company’s data turned out to be a hostage.

  2. Analytics for the owner is done in a Google spreadsheet. Every week someone copies the list over by hand, and it’s a week behind.

  3. Client contacts exist only in the CRM. A rep has half of them on their phone, a new rep has none.

What Krokul does

Export from its own screen

Any list (client companies, deals, documents, payments, products, reports) exports to Google Sheets or Docs with the current filters and columns. Every list has the button.

Contacts to vCard

Selected or filtered contacts export to vCard: to a phone, an email client, another system. With phone numbers, emails and company.

The API covers everything in the interface

Everything in the interface is available through the API, with documentation in English. Your own analytics, backups, sync with an accounting system, no permission from support needed.

Import check and rollback

Before an import from a spreadsheet or another CRM you see the columns and first rows, after it a report of what was created and skipped, and a finished import can be rolled back completely. A migration mistake doesn’t cost you the database.

How it works

  1. Open a list and filter it

For example, deals for the quarter by sales rep. The columns and filters are the ones on screen.

  2. Export to Sheets or Docs

One action gives you a spreadsheet in your Google Drive with the same rows. For contacts, vCard.

  3. Connect the API for regular exports

A read-only role key, and your analytics or backup pulls the data on a schedule with no people involved.

  4. Migrate with rollback

Import in batches with a run report; if something landed wrong, roll back and the database is as it was.

“Migration” wizard, “Source” step: an open list — CSV/TSV/XLSX file, KeepinCRM, KeyCRM, SalesDrive.

Result

  • Your company data is available to you at any moment, without emailing support.
  • Analytics in your own spreadsheet updates on its own through the API, not by copying.
  • Moving to Krokul is safe, and so is moving away from Krokul.

What’s not included

There is no one-click full export of the whole company as a single archive yet: export works per list or through the API. File attachments export separately from records. Export to Sheets and Docs requires a connected Google account.

Questions

Are there export limits by plan?

No. List export, vCard and read access through the API are available on all plans, including the free Deals plan.

Can we take our data if we leave?

Yes, at any time: lists to Sheets, contacts to vCard, everything else through the API. No permission from support is needed.

How do I set up regular backups on my side?

A read-only API key and a scheduled script that pulls the lists you need. Request examples are in the documentation.

How is this different from export in a typical CRM?

The difference is the rule: in Krokul, export and the API are part of the product on every plan, not a support service on an expensive one. And import has rollback, so your data doesn’t get “stuck” from the very first step.

How much does it cost?

Nothing extra: export, vCard, read API access and import with rollback are included in the Deals plan, free.

What if a record was deleted by mistake?

Deleted records go to the trash instead of disappearing. An admin restores them from there, one at a time or in bulk, filtered by record type.

Check how easy it is to take your data out before you put it in

Sign up, import a spreadsheet with rollback, then export it back to Sheets. It takes ten minutes, and the doubts are gone.

Included in the Deals plan, free.
