Salt Edge + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM connects company bank accounts through the Salt Edge aggregator. The account holder gives consent on the Salt Edge page, and incoming transactions land in Krokul «Incoming payments», where Krokul matches them to deal payment plans by payment code, account and counterparty.

  • NativeA connector built into Krokul. You connect it in the Marketplace with a key or by signing in to the service, and no code is needed.

What your team gets

Connecting a bank with a consent

An administrator clicks «Connect bank» on the integration page. Krokul opens the Salt Edge page, where the account holder chooses the bank and agrees to share accounts and transactions. Krokul stores no bank logins or passwords.

Incoming money lands in «Incoming payments»

After the consent, Salt Edge notifies Krokul, and the first transactions for the last 90 days appear within minutes. After that, Krokul refreshes the account every two hours. Each credit becomes a row in «Incoming payments» with the amount, date, payer and payment purpose.

Matching a receipt to the payment plan

Krokul looks for the payment code from the invoice in the payment purpose, then for the payer account and the counterparty. When a row matches an open payment plan, the accountant confirms it, and Krokul records the actual payment on the deal. Rows with no match stay in the queue for manual review.

Renewing an expiring consent

Shortly before the consent expires, the integration page shows a «Renew consent» button. Renewal opens the same Salt Edge page with the existing connection, so the transaction history in Krokul continues without a gap.

Questions and answers

Which banks can I connect through Salt Edge?

Salt Edge covers banks in the EU, the UK and other countries. The list of banks for a country is on saltedge.com, and Krokul has separate pages for the main banks of each country it serves.

Does Krokul see my bank password?

No. The consent is given on the Salt Edge page, and Krokul receives only the accounts and transactions that the consent covers.

What happens to the data when I disconnect the bank?

Krokul revokes the consent in Salt Edge and stops reading new transactions. The receipts already loaded stay in «Incoming payments».

Who holds the licence for account access?

Salt Edge holds the licence. Your company accepts the Salt Edge terms as its indirect client when it gives consent.

Limits

Krokul reads only credits, that is, money coming in. It does not initiate payments and does not read outgoing transactions. The consent has a term set by the bank, typically 90 days, and the bank then asks to reconnect.
