impact.com + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with impact.com. When a deal that came through a partner is won or paid, Krokul submits it to impact.com as a conversion with the order amount and the partner click or promo code. A lost or refunded deal reverses or adjusts the action, and impact.com reports the action state back to the deal, so the sales team sees which partner sales are pending, approved or reversed.

  • Via API and webhooksYou connect it with the Krokul app in an automation platform, the public API and signed webhooks. The page lists the steps for this service.

What your team gets

A partner sale closed by your sales team

A B2B buyer arrives from a partner link, fills in your web form, and the deal keeps the impact.com click ID or the promo code the buyer used. Weeks later the manager wins the deal. Krokul submits a Conversion to impact.com with the CampaignId, the deal number as OrderId, the Krokul client company ID as CustomerId and the deal amount with its currency, so the partner gets credit for a sale that closed offline.

Payment decides when the action counts

Some programs reward only paid orders. In that setup Krokul waits for invoice.paid on the deal and sends the Conversion then, with item lines by SKU when the program pays by product category. A deal that is won and never paid creates no action.

Refunds and lost deals reach the action

A partial refund recorded in Krokul updates the impact.com Action with Reason ITEM_RETURNED and the new Amount. A deal canceled after the conversion reverses the Action with a disposition code such as REJECTED. impact.com accepts these changes up to the locking date of the action.

Action states on the deal

An Action Lifecycle Event postback from impact.com tells Krokul when an action is tracked, modified or reversed. Krokul writes the state and the partner payout as an activity on the deal. Finance sees the partner cost next to the deal margin.

Each partner as a source

Krokul reads the program partners from the impact.com MediaPartners list and keeps each one as a deal source with the partner ID as an external key. The sources report in Krokul then shows conversion and revenue per partner.

Questions and answers

Does Krokul integrate with impact.com?

Yes. Krokul integrates with impact.com through its API and webhooks together with the impact.com Brand API and its event notifications.

How does impact.com know which partner brought the deal?

By the click ID or the promo code that Krokul keeps on the deal from the first visit. Krokul sends it with the conversion, and impact.com credits the partner its contract names.

What happens when the client asks for a refund?

Krokul lowers the action amount in impact.com, or reverses the action when the whole sale is canceled. The change works until the locking date of the action.

Does Krokul pay partners?

No. impact.com calculates and pays partner rewards under its contracts. Krokul reports the sales those rewards depend on and shows the result on each deal.

Limits

Partner contracts, payout terms, tracking links and payments to partners stay in impact.com. An action can be changed only until its locking date, which the impact.com program settings define.
