Telegram + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM connects to Telegram natively through your company bot. A private message to the bot, or to a manager account connected through Telegram Business, becomes a contact, a deal and a conversation thread in the Communications section, and the manager answers from Krokul with text, photos or files.

  • NativeA connector built into Krokul. You connect it in the Marketplace with a key or by signing in to the service, and no code is needed.

What your team gets

A customer writes to the company bot

The customer finds your bot and sends a message. Krokul receives the update, finds or creates the contact by the Telegram chat ID and opens a deal titled with the customer name in the pipeline you chose. If this contact already has an open deal, the message joins it instead of starting another one.

The customer talks to the manager in person

With Telegram Business, the company bot connects to the personal Telegram account of a manager. The customer sees the manager in the chat, and every business message lands in the Krokul thread. Messages the manager types on the phone are stored as outgoing and do not open a new deal.

Photos and files travel with the deal

A photo, a document or a voice note from the customer is saved to the deal as a file that the team can open. The manager can attach a quote or an invoice PDF to the reply, and Krokul sends it to the same Telegram chat with sendDocument.

Edits and deletions show in the thread

When the customer edits a message, Krokul updates the text in the thread and marks it as edited. A message deleted in a Telegram Business chat is marked as deleted, so the team does not answer something that is gone.

Employees get Krokul notifications in Telegram

An employee takes a link code in Krokul and sends /link with that code to the company bot. From then on that chat receives Krokul notifications for this employee, separate from customer threads.

How to connect today

Connect the bot (native, no code)

  1. Create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token. To use personal accounts as well, turn on Business Mode for the bot in @BotFather.
  2. In Krokul, open the Marketplace, choose Telegram and paste the bot token. Krokul checks the token and warns you if the bot already has a webhook set somewhere else.
  3. Choose the pipeline and the source for new conversations. With an empty pipeline Krokul creates contacts and threads but no deals.
  4. Optional: a manager connects the company bot to a personal account in Telegram settings. From then on that account chats arrive in Krokul too.
  5. Send a test message to the bot and open the thread in Communications. The journal shows every update and every reply, with the error text when Telegram refuses one.

Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato

  1. Connect the Krokul app with an API key and use a second bot for automations, since one bot cannot be read by two tools.
  2. Combine a Krokul trigger such as Deal Won or Task Created with the Telegram action Send Message to post into a team chat.

Questions and answers

Does Krokul integrate with Telegram?

Yes, natively. A Telegram bot token connects in the Marketplace, and private chats become contacts, deals and threads you answer from Krokul.

Can customers chat with a real person instead of a bot?

Yes, through Telegram Business. The company bot connects to a personal account, the customer sees that person, and Krokul still keeps the thread. One personal account can have one connected bot.

Can I use the same bot in Zapier and in Krokul?

No. A Telegram bot either has one webhook or is read by polling. Use a separate bot for automations that need the Zapier trigger New Message.

Do files from customers reach the deal?

Yes. Photos, documents and voice notes are saved to the deal as files, and the manager can send a file back from the thread.

Limits

Krokul works with private chats. Group chats and channels stay in Telegram. A Telegram bot is read either by polling or through one webhook, so a bot connected to Krokul cannot serve a second tool at the same time.
