Krokul connects an account at CaixaBank through Salt Edge. Salt Edge lists 2 connections for CaixaBank in Spain: CaixaBank and Caixabank Web Banking. Credits on these accounts land in Krokul Incoming and are matched to open payment plan lines on deals. The connection follows Salt Edge documentation and has not yet been checked on a live CaixaBank account.
Salt Edge lists 2 CaixaBank connections with business accounts: CaixaBank and Caixabank Web Banking. You pick the one your company signs in to, and Krokul reads the accounts that sign-in can see. CaixaBank and Caixabank Web Banking cover business and personal accounts in one sign-in.
Through Salt Edge, CaixaBank shows current accounts, cards, credit cards, debit cards and e-wallets. Krokul records only credits, the money coming in, and matches them by the payment code, the amount and the payer. Debits and card spending stay out of Incoming.
Salt Edge also offers bulk payments and payment initiation for CaixaBank. Krokul does not use them: it reads incoming money and never moves it.
A sure match, one open line with the same code or amount and payer, is recorded on the deal as a payment. Two equal amounts on two deals or no match at all wait in Incoming for the accountant, and the Salt Edge transaction ID keeps the same CaixaBank credit from being booked twice.

No. Krokul connects an account at CaixaBank through Salt Edge, which holds the licence to read account data and reaches CaixaBank over a regulated open banking API and a non-regulated connection. CaixaBank is not involved in Krokul and does not endorse it.
On the first connection Krokul asks Salt Edge for the last 90 days, then checks for new transactions every 2 hours. The Salt Edge coverage list does not say how much history CaixaBank itself returns, so the first import shows what the bank gives.
Salt Edge can read accounts with balances, account holder details, transactions and accounts without balances from CaixaBank; CaixaBank gives accounts with balances, account holder details and transactions. Krokul asks only for accounts and transactions.
Not yet. The Salt Edge connector is built from Salt Edge documentation and tested against a simulated API. The status on this page changes once a live CaixaBank account has been connected.
Not checked on a live CaixaBank account yet. Krokul reads credits only and never pays from CaixaBank. Access to the account works under the Salt Edge licence: you accept Salt Edge terms when you connect.
