# A pipeline that won’t let a deal move on without the data

Each stage says what the card must contain before the deal moves on. The board shows where money is stuck and for how many days, and a lost deal keeps its reason.

**In short.** Krokul is a B2B CRM where you can run several pipelines (new sales, renewals, tenders), and each stage has required fields: a gate the deal can’t pass without. The board shows stalled deals by days without movement, the amount and the expected amount weighted by probability; a lost deal is recorded with a reason from a list; conversion and stage duration are calculated from the same cards.

**Who it’s for:** B2B companies with a long sales cycle and several processes; sales teams of 3–30 reps; IT integrators, distributors, service companies.

**Plan:** Available on the free Deals plan, 100 transactions per month

## What it looks like without Krokul

1. A deal has been in “Negotiation” for three weeks. The card has a company name and a phone number. Who decides, what the budget is, when the decision is due: nobody knows except the rep, who is on vacation.
2. The report has no lost deals: they just get dragged to “Closed” or deleted. Why they left (“too expensive”, “went with someone else”, “never replied”) nobody tracks.
3. The quarterly forecast is the sum of all open deals. Half of them will never close, and everyone knows it.

## What Krokul does

### Required fields per stage

For each stage you define which fields must be filled in for the deal to move on. No budget and no decision-maker means no move to “Proposal”.

### Stalled deals are visible on the board

The card shows how many days the deal has been idle, the amount and the last contact. The manager sees stuck money on the board, not in a separate report at the end of the month.

### Lost with a reason

A deal can be closed as lost only with a reason from the list: price, timing, competitor, no reply. Reasons add up by rep and by segment.

### Weighted forecast

Each stage has a probability. A deal’s expected amount = amount × probability, and the period forecast is built from expected amounts, not from everything that’s open.

## How it works

1. **You describe your process as stages with rules** You can run several pipelines: new client sales, renewals, tenders. Each stage has a probability, required fields and a card layout: which fields to show at that stage.
2. **The rep works the deal, the gate blocks it without data** When someone tries to drag a card to the next stage, Krokul names the missing fields. They are filled in right in the same card, with no separate form.
3. **The board shows money and days** Each card shows the amount, the expected amount, days without movement and an overdue date. Columns collapse, and cards filter by rep, segment and source.
4. **Won and lost are recorded with a follow-up** Lost comes with a reason. Won comes with a next step: the contract, invoice or project is created from the same card, not from scratch.
5. **Reports take numbers from the same cards** Stage-to-stage conversion, stage duration, cohorts by month created, lost reasons, with no export to a spreadsheet.

## Result

- Managers see where money is stuck while there’s still time to act.
- Every deal card has what it takes to close it: budget, decision-maker, timeline.
- The quarterly forecast is a number that matches actuals within the stage probabilities, not wishful thinking.

## What’s not included

Krokul doesn’t call or email clients for you: calls go through your telephony (integrations available), emails through Gmail. There is no AI-based scoring: stage probability is set by the manager.

## Questions

### How many pipelines can I run?

Unlimited. Typically two or three: new sales, renewals, and tenders or a dealer channel. Each has its own stages, probabilities and gates.

### What is a stage gate?

A list of fields that must be filled in for a deal to enter that stage. The gate is checked on the server, so it can’t be bypassed by dragging or through the API.

### Can a deal go back to a previous stage?

Yes, with a comment; stage movement is written to the card history, and the stage duration report accounts for it.

### How is a Krokul pipeline different from a board in a typical CRM?

Every CRM has a board. The difference is that a Krokul stage has rules (required fields, probability, card layout), and a won deal turns into a contract, invoice and project in the same system.

### How much does it cost?

Pipelines, gates, the board and lost reasons are included in the free Deals plan: 100 new deals, documents and payments per month, with no per-user fee.

## Describe your process in half an hour

One question about your business type, and a pipeline with stages is already set up. Add your own fields and gates, move your deals over from a spreadsheet, and see where the money is.

Included in the Deals plan, free of charge.
