# See which stage deals get stuck at and how many days they sit there

Take the deals that entered in a period and follow their path: who moved on, who is still in progress, who dropped off. Click a number to open the deals themselves.

**In short.** Krokul is a B2B CRM with a cohort-based funnel report: it takes the deals that entered the pipeline during a chosen period and, for every stage, counts how many moved on, how many are still there and how many dropped off, with stage-to-stage conversion, average days at the stage and amount; it has filters by owner, team and source, comparison with another period and drill-down into the list of deals at a stage; the report is included in the free Deals plan.

**Who it’s for:** sales managers looking for the bottleneck in their pipeline; owners for whom “overall conversion” says nothing; teams with several pipelines and inquiry sources.

**Plan:** Available on the free Deals plan, 100 transactions per month

## What it looks like without Krokul

1. The manager knows the overall conversion rate but not which stage deals stall at — or whether it’s the rep, the source or the stage itself.
2. The funnel report is assembled from an export: deals for the quarter, statuses as of today. The export says nothing about how many days a deal spent at each stage.
3. Comparing this quarter with the last one is a separate spreadsheet. By the time it’s ready, the reps are already working under different rules.

## What Krokul does

### A cohort’s path through the stages

Deals that entered during the period are tracked up to today: at every stage you see how many moved on, how many are still in progress, how many dropped off. A young cohort is flagged separately so “still in progress” isn’t read as a loss.

### Conversion and days per stage

For each pair of stages — conversion as “moved on out of those who reached it”, average days at the stage, and the amount of deals sitting there now. Two numbers reveal the bottleneck: low conversion and many days.

### Filters and comparison

By pipeline, owner, team, inquiry source. The “compare with” switch puts another period alongside — and you see what changed after new rules or a new rep.

### Every number opens the deals

Click “still here” or “moved on” to open the list of exactly those deals. No need to double-check the report against an export: the report is the list.

## How it works

1. **Pick a pipeline and an entry period** For example, “Project sales”, deals that entered this quarter. Filter by rep, team or source if needed.
2. **Read the three numbers at the top** How many reached the last stage, how many days it took on average, and how many deals from the cohort are still open — with their amount.
3. **Find the bottleneck** The stage where conversion drops and days go up. For example, “Quote sent”: 40% and nine days — deals are waiting for an answer and nobody is calling.
4. **Open the deals and act** Click a number to get the list of deals at that stage. Then: a task for the rep, an automation rule for “deal with no activity”, or a change to the stage gate.

## Result

- The pipeline bottleneck is named by stage and number, not by gut feeling.
- A change in rules or reps is checked by comparing periods, not a quarter later.
- The report is built from the same deals as the board and opens in seconds, with no exports.

## What’s not included

The report counts movement between stages of one pipeline; there is no end-to-end path across several pipelines. Forecast and target vs. actual by rep are separate reports in Reports. Loss reasons are not grouped here — they live in the conversion report and on the deal card.

## Questions

### What is a cohort in the funnel report?

All deals that entered the pipeline during the chosen period, for example a quarter. The report tracks exactly those deals up to today, so conversion isn’t skewed by deals that came in later.

### Why is “still in progress” shown separately from “dropped off”?

Because for a young cohort the bottom of the pipeline isn’t filled yet: a deal that came in a week ago hasn’t had time to reach the contract. The report warns about this and doesn’t count it as lost.

### Can I compare two reps or two sources?

Yes, by filtering on owner, team or inquiry source. The “compare with” switch puts another period alongside for the same filter.

### How is this different from the funnel report in a typical CRM?

A typical report shows how many deals sit at each stage right now. Here you see the path: how many moved on, how many days it took and what happened to the rest — and every number opens the deals it is made of.

### How much does it cost?

The funnel report is included in the free Deals plan. Viewing the report doesn’t count as a transaction.

## Find the bottleneck in your pipeline

Bring over a quarter’s worth of deals — and the funnel report will show which stage they stall at and how many days they sit there. Free, no card required.
