# Zoom + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Zoom. A manager creates a Zoom meeting from a task or a deal in one click, the join link stays on the task, and when the meeting ends Krokul logs it on the deal with its real length, the Zoom summary and a link to the cloud recording. Teams connect it through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato, or build the link on the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n, Albato.

## What your team gets

### A demo task gets its own Zoom meeting

The manager opens the task "Demo for the client" with a date and clicks Zoom meeting. Krokul creates the meeting in the Zoom account of the assignee and takes the topic from the task title and the start from its time. The join URL appears there and in the deal feed, ready to send.

### A new time in Krokul moves the Zoom meeting

When the task moves to another day, Krokul updates the start time of the Zoom meeting. When the task is cancelled, Krokul deletes the meeting, so the Zoom calendar shows no empty meeting.

### The ended meeting is logged on the deal

Zoom sends `meeting.ended` with the start and end times. Krokul finds the task by the stored meeting ID, writes a meeting record on the deal with the real length and marks the task done. The scheduled length in `duration` is not used for the record.

### The summary and the recording reach the deal

When Zoom finishes the meeting summary, Krokul adds it to the deal as a note with the next steps agreed in the call. A finished cloud recording adds its link to the same meeting record, while the file stays in Zoom.

## What moves between Zoom and Krokul

| Zoom | Krokul | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meeting (create, update, delete) | Task with a date | Krokul → Zoom | When the manager creates the meeting, moves or cancels the task |
| Join URL and meeting ID | Link on the task and external key | Zoom → Krokul | Right after Zoom creates the meeting |
| Ended meeting (`meeting.ended`) | Meeting record on the deal, task done | Zoom → Krokul | When the meeting ends |
| Meeting summary | Note on the deal | Zoom → Krokul | When Zoom produces the summary |
| Cloud recording (`recording.completed`) | Recording link on the meeting record | Zoom → Krokul | When the recording is ready |
| Webinar registrant | Contact | Zoom → Krokul | When a person registers |

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato

1. Connect the Krokul app with an API key, and connect the Zoom account that should host the meetings.
2. Use the Krokul trigger Task Created with the Zoom action Create Meeting, and Update Zoom Meeting when the task time changes.
3. Start from Zoom triggers such as New Meeting Ended, New Meeting Summary or New Cloud Recording and use Krokul actions such as Add Activity or Update Task.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Create a Krokul API key with scopes for tasks and activities.
2. Subscribe a webhook to task.created and verify the x-crm-signature header. Your code creates the Zoom meeting through the Zoom API and saves the meeting ID on the task with externalRef/api-upsert.
3. Answer the Zoom meeting.ended event within 3 seconds, then find the task with externalRef/api-resolve from a queue.
4. Write the meeting on the deal with activity/api-create and close the task with task/api-updateStatus.

**Triggers:** New Meeting; New Meeting Ended; New Meeting Summary; New Cloud Recording; New Meeting Registrant.

**Actions:** Create Meeting; Update Zoom Meeting; Create Meeting Registrant; Get Meeting Summary.

### For integrators

Zoom expects an answer within 3 seconds, validates the endpoint with `endpoint.url_validation` and signs events, so a custom receiver answers first and calls the Krokul API from a queue. In Krokul, the meeting ID is stored with `externalRef` on the task, and the public API accepts activities of type `meeting`, like the app does.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul integrate with Zoom?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Zoom through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato, and through its API and webhooks. Meetings are created from tasks and deals, and ended meetings, summaries and recording links return to the deal.

### Whose Zoom account hosts the meeting?

The account of the task assignee. Each person connects their own Zoom account in Krokul.

### Are Zoom recordings copied into Krokul?

No. Recordings stay in Zoom, and Krokul keeps a link to the cloud recording on the meeting record.

### Can I use Google Meet instead?

Yes. Google Meet is built into Krokul tasks, and each team member can use the one their company works with.

## Limits

Rooms, waiting rooms, recordings and webinars stay in the Zoom account. A meeting summary reaches Krokul only when the Zoom account produces one.
