# WordPress forms + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with WordPress forms built with Contact Form 7, WPForms or Elementor Pro. Every submission becomes a contact and a deal that carries the source and the campaign tags of the page where the visitor filled in the form. You connect a form through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make or Albato, or send its webhook to your own flow on the Krokul API.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, Albato.

## What your team gets

### A WPForms entry goes straight into a pipeline

The WPForms Webhooks addon posts each entry as JSON or FORM to the Krokul URL. Krokul shows the keys from the first test entry, you match them to name, email, phone, company and message once, and every later one opens a deal in the pipeline chosen for that form.

### Contact Form 7 keeps its field names

The CF7 to Webhook plugin sends a Contact Form 7 submission as JSON with field names like your-name and your-email as keys. The Krokul mapping screen accepts these names as they are, so the form tags on the site stay untouched.

### Elementor Pro forms in either format

The Elementor Pro Webhook action can send fields by label or, with advanced data, as fields with IDs and values. Krokul recognises both shapes of the Elementor submission and keeps the mapping by field ID, so renaming a label in Elementor does not break the route.

### Campaign tags and click IDs from the landing page

Hidden fields named utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid or fbclid arrive with the submission. Krokul stores them on the deal next to the page address, and the sources report groups deals by the campaign that brought each WordPress visitor.

## What moves between WordPress forms and Krokul

| WordPress form | Krokul | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| WPForms entry (Webhooks addon, JSON or FORM) | Contact and deal | WordPress → Krokul | Each entry |
| Contact Form 7 submission (CF7 to Webhook, JSON) | Contact and deal | WordPress → Krokul | Each submission, keys mapped in Krokul |
| Elementor Pro form (Webhook action) | Contact and deal | WordPress → Krokul | Each submission, labels or field IDs |
| Field mapped to company | Client company linked to the contact | WordPress → Krokul | Same submission |
| Hidden fields: utm tags, gclid, fbclid; page URL | UTM tags, click IDs and page on the deal | WordPress → Krokul | Same submission |

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make or Albato

1. Add the Krokul app on the platform and authorise it with a Krokul API key.
2. Start from the WPForms trigger New Form Entry in Zapier, Watch New Form Entries in Make, or the Elementor trigger Watch Forms in Make or Albato.
3. Follow it with the Krokul actions Find Contact and Create Deal, mapping the form fields to name, email, phone, company and message.
4. For the next step after the deal, use a Krokul trigger such as Deal Created to start a reply from your mail service.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Issue a Krokul API key whose scopes cover contacts and deals.
2. Point the plugin webhook (WPForms Webhooks, CF7 to Webhook or the Elementor Pro Webhook action) at your own endpoint, which calls contact/api-find and then contact/api-create when the person is new.
3. Open the deal with card/api-create and keep the WordPress entry ID on it through externalRef/api-upsert, so a repeated post updates the same deal.
4. Subscribe a Krokul webhook to card.created if the site needs to react. Every delivery is signed with the x-crm-signature header, which your endpoint checks against its secret.

**Triggers:** New Form Entry (WPForms, Zapier); Watch New Form Entries (WPForms, Make); Watch Forms (Elementor, Make).

### For integrators

Teams with their own theme code can skip the plugins. They hook into the form submission in PHP and call the Krokul API with a bearer key. contact/api-find checks the person, card/api-create opens the deal, and externalRef/api-set stores the WordPress entry ID. Signed Krokul webhooks with a delivery log tell your site what happened next. Tests run in a separate sandbox company.

## Questions and answers

### Do I need a Krokul plugin for WordPress?

No. WPForms, Contact Form 7 with CF7 to Webhook, and Elementor Pro already send submissions over HTTP. You paste the Krokul URL into the form plugin and map the fields in Krokul.

### Which plugin do I need for Contact Form 7?

Contact Form 7 has no webhook of its own. The free CF7 to Webhook plugin on wordpress.org adds one and sends the submission as JSON.

### Does WPForms need a particular license?

Yes. WPForms lists the Webhooks addon for its Elite license.

### How do I keep spam out of the CRM?

Keep the spam protection of your form plugin on, since filtering happens in WordPress before the post. Each Krokul URL belongs to one form, so you can pause or replace it without touching the others.

### Does Krokul integrate with WordPress forms?

Yes. Krokul integrates with WordPress forms through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make and Albato, and through its API and webhooks.

## Limits

The form, its design, spam filtering and uploaded files stay in WordPress. Krokul keeps the person, the client company and the deal that follow the submission.
