# TurboSMS + Krokul CRM

Yes. TurboSMS is built into Krokul CRM as the company SMS provider. An administrator pastes the TurboSMS API key once, and Krokul sends SMS to clients from deals and automations, Viber messages with a fallback SMS, and notifications to employees on their phones. TurboSMS returns the delivery status to Krokul.

## What your team gets

### An SMS to the client when a deal changes stage

In the «Automations» section, the administrator sets a rule with the «Send the client an SMS» action and a text template. When a deal moves to the chosen stage, Krokul takes the contact number, brings it to the 380XXXXXXXXX format and passes it to TurboSMS through message/send. The client learns that the order has shipped without a call from the manager.

### Viber first, SMS as the fallback

For messages with a button or an image, Krokul sends both objects, viber and sms, in message/send. TurboSMS delivers the message in Viber, and if it does not arrive, sends the same content as an SMS automatically. The manager sees in the deal feed which channel delivered the message to the client.

### Delivery status in the deal feed

The TurboSMS webhook DLR_SMS_API or DLR_VIBER_API brings the DELIVRD, READ, EXPIRED, UNDELIV or REJECTD status by message_id. Krokul puts it next to the message in the feed. An undelivered SMS becomes a task to check the client number.

### A client reply in Viber goes to the thread

The INBOX_VIBER_SESSION event arrives when the client replies to a Viber message. Krokul finds the contact by number and puts the reply into the deal thread in «Communications», where the manager handles it.

### Team notifications without the internet

Each employee enters a phone number in «My profile». Unread Krokul notifications, such as a new task or an overdue payment, reach the employee by SMS through the same company TurboSMS key.

## How to connect today

### Turn it on in Krokul

1. In the TurboSMS account, create a token for the HTTP API and register a sender name.
2. In Krokul, the administrator opens the «SMS provider» screen, chooses TurboSMS and pastes the API key and the sender name. Krokul checks the key by reading the balance.
3. In «My profile», each employee enters a number for SMS notifications.
4. In «Automations», add a rule with the «Send the client an SMS» action and a text template.
5. In the Webhooks section of the TurboSMS account, enter the Krokul address for delivery events and incoming Viber messages and set a secret key.

### For integrators

TurboSMS accepts requests to https://api.turbosms.ua with a token in the Authorization header under the Bearer scheme. The response comes in JSON. TurboSMS webhooks carry the id, signature, type, date, try and data fields, and the signature is SHA1 of the secret key and id. A receiver that did not answer 200 gets a retry after 1, 3 and 5 minutes and later, about 4.5 hours in total. For your own flows, Krokul sends `card.statusChanged` and `invoice.paid` as signed webhooks.

### Does Krokul send SMS through TurboSMS?

Yes. TurboSMS is built in as the company SMS provider. SMS go to clients from automation rules and from deals, and employees get notifications.

### Who pays for SMS sent from Krokul?

The company, from the balance of its TurboSMS account. Krokul uses the company key and resells nothing.

### What format should a client number have for TurboSMS?

Krokul brings the number to the 380XXXXXXXXX format itself. Krokul rejects a number that cannot be brought to this form at once, so an SMS never gets lost silently.

### Can I send Viber messages through TurboSMS?

Yes. Krokul passes TurboSMS a Viber message together with a fallback SMS, and the client gets the SMS if Viber did not deliver the message.

## Limits

The sender name is registered in the TurboSMS account, and Krokul only selects it. The balance and message rates also live in TurboSMS. Krokul trims SMS text to 300 characters at a word boundary, which gives up to five parts for Cyrillic text.
