# Trello + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Trello. A won deal adds a card with your checklist to the board you choose, Krokul tasks and Trello cards close together, and due dates and comments reach the account manager in Krokul. You set it up with the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato, or build your own flow on the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n, Albato.

## What your team gets

### One card per won order

A deal reaches a won stage, and the connector adds a Card to the first list of the production board. The card gets the deal title, the client company and a link to the deal, plus the checklist your team repeats for every order. The production manager sees new work appear without a call from sales.

### A board copied for larger projects

For pipelines that sell bigger projects, the connector copies a template Board instead of adding one card. The new board carries the client name, and its link goes to the deal feed, where the account manager finds it later.

### Done on the board, done in Krokul

A Krokul task for the workshop becomes a Card on the board. Dragging the card to the list you mapped as Done marks the task `done` in Krokul. When the manager closes the task in Krokul, the card moves to that list, so the board and the deal show the same status.

### Due dates that the manager can act on

When a card due date is near, Krokul adds a reminder task for the account manager on the deal. Comments on the card that pass your filter appear in the deal feed, so the manager can warn the client before a date slips.

## What moves between Trello and Krokul

| Trello | Krokul | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Card with checklist | Won deal | Krokul → Trello | A deal reaches a won stage |
| Board (copy of a template) | Won deal in a project pipeline | Krokul → Trello | A deal reaches a won stage |
| Card | Task | Krokul ↔ Trello | A task is created in Krokul; the card or task is closed on either side |
| Card due date | Reminder task on the deal | Trello → Krokul | The due date approaches |
| Card comment | Comment in the deal feed | Trello → Krokul | A comment passes the connector filter |

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato

1. Connect the Krokul app with an API key.
2. Start from the Krokul trigger Deal Won and use the Trello actions Create Card and Add Checklist to Card, or Copy Board.
3. For updates back, use the Trello trigger Card Moved to List or Card Due with a Krokul action such as Update Task or Create Task.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Create a Krokul API key whose scopes include deals and tasks.
2. Subscribe a Krokul webhook to card.won and task.created, filtered by the pipeline that feeds the board, and check x-crm-signature on every delivery.
3. Add the Trello card through the Trello REST API, then tie its card ID to the Krokul task with externalRef/api-upsert.
4. When your Trello webhook reports a card in the Done list, look the task up with externalRef/api-resolve and close it with task/api-updateStatus.

**Triggers:** New Card; Card Moved to List; Card Updated; New Comment in Card; Card Due.

**Actions:** Create Card; Update Card; Move Card to List; Create Comment; Add Checklist to Card; Copy Board.

### For integrators

Trello webhooks are created with a POST to `/1/webhooks` with `idModel` and `callbackURL`. Trello checks the URL with a HEAD request and signs deliveries in the `X-Trello-Webhook` header, and the `action` object names the change, such as `updateCard` or `commentCard`. On the Krokul side you get a public REST API, signed webhooks with a delivery log, external keys for tasks and deals, and a sandbox company.

## Questions and answers

### Can Trello connect to Krokul CRM?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Trello through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato, and through its API and webhooks.

### Can a Trello board replace the deal pipeline in Krokul?

No. Deals, stages, documents and payments live in Krokul. The Trello board holds the work that follows a won deal.

### What happens in Krokul when a card is archived?

The linked Krokul task is cancelled, and the deal feed notes it. You can turn this off in the connector settings if your team archives finished cards.

### Can I log hours from Trello?

Trello has no time field of its own. Teams that track time elsewhere send it to the Krokul project from that tool.

## Limits

A Trello board is the work board of the team that delivers the order. The sales pipeline, documents and payments live in Krokul, and Trello does not track time, so hours come from elsewhere.
