# Microsoft Teams + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Microsoft Teams. Each pipeline has its own Teams channel, where Krokul posts won deals, stage moves and payments as Adaptive Cards. Buttons on a card approve a deal or take it on in Krokul, and a message action turns any Teams message into a Krokul task. The connection runs through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato, or through the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n, Albato.

## What your team gets

### A card for every won deal in the sales channel

When a deal in the projects pipeline is won, the Krokul bot posts an Adaptive Card with the client, amount, manager and an Open deal button to the Sales channel of the team. The card lives in the channel conversation, so congratulations and questions stay in its replies.

### Approve a deal on the card

A deal reaches a stage that needs the sales head’s approval. The card in the approvals channel shows the price and discount with Approve and Decline. A click changes the deal stage in Krokul, records who decided, and the card refreshes for everyone to show the decision.

### Payment cards for finance

Each received payment and each invoice paid in full appears as a card in the Finance channel with the client, amount and invoice number. A refund updates the same card in place.

### A Teams message becomes a task

A colleague writes in a chat that a client wants a quote by Friday. The message action Create Krokul task opens a short form prefilled with the message text; the new task keeps a link back to the Teams message. Searching a deal from the compose box inserts its card into the conversation.

| Approve or Decline on the card (Action.Execute) | Deal stage and a timeline note | Teams → Krokul | A linked user clicks; the card refreshes |
| Message action Create Krokul task | Task with a link to the message | Teams → Krokul | A linked user runs it |
| Deal search in the compose box | Deal card inserted into the chat | Krokul → Teams | A user searches by client name |

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato

1. Install the Krokul app on your platform and link it with a Krokul API key.
2. Pick a channel per pipeline. The Krokul trigger Deal Won goes to the Teams action Send Message with Card, and Payment Received goes to Send Channel Message in the finance channel.
3. For the way back, the Teams trigger New Channel Mention or New Chat Message starts a flow that ends in the Krokul action Create Task.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Create a Krokul API key with scopes for deals and tasks.
2. Subscribe a webhook to card.won, card.statusChanged and payment.received, filtered by pipelineUuid. Verify the x-crm-signature header of each delivery with your secret.
3. Receive the delivery in a Teams workflow with the trigger When a Teams webhook request is received, and add a step that turns the event fields into a message, since the Krokul body carries data and no text.
4. Send tasks back from Teams to task/api-create, and change a deal stage with card/api-updateStatus.

**Triggers:** New Channel Message; New Channel Mention; New Chat Message; New Reply to Message.

**Actions:** Send Channel Message; Send Message with Card; Send Chat Message; Send Approval Request and Wait; Reply to Channel Message.

### For integrators

Microsoft marks Microsoft 365 Connectors in Teams as nearing deprecation and points to Workflows and apps, which is why Krokul ships a Teams app that builds the card itself. A raw Krokul delivery is event data signed with HMAC-SHA256, with a delivery id for deduplication and replay from the delivery log, for teams that run their own receiver.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul CRM integrate with Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Microsoft Teams through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato, and through its API and webhooks.

### Can I approve a deal from Teams?

Yes. Cards for stages that need approval carry Approve and Decline; the click updates the deal and the card shows who decided.

### Do we need a Teams administrator?

Yes, once. The administrator allows the Krokul app for the organisation in the Teams admin center, and then any team can add it.

### Can I use the Send webhook alerts to a channel template?

That template expects a ready card, and a Krokul webhook carries event data. Use the Teams action Send Message with Card through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato, or build a workflow from the webhook trigger with a step that turns the event into a message.

## Limits

Teams carries the conversation around a deal; the deal record, documents and money stay in Krokul. A Teams user acts in Krokul with the rights of the linked Krokul account, and a tenant administrator decides whether the app is allowed.
