# Microsoft Teams Phone + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Microsoft Teams Phone. Every phone call a Teams user makes or takes is written to the contact and the open deal with its direction, duration and the Teams user who spoke, and the recording and transcript follow when they are ready. A click on a number in Krokul starts the call in Teams. The link runs on Microsoft Graph through the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks.

## What your team gets

### A finished call lands on the contact

Microsoft Graph sends a change notification for communications/callRecords after each call ends. Krokul reads the PSTN call log row with the caller number, callee number, call type and duration, finds the contact by the outside number and writes one call record on it and on the open deal. The Teams user principal name on the row picks the Krokul manager.

### Click to call from the contact card

Phone numbers in Krokul open a Teams call link that carries the number with the PSTN prefix. Teams Phone places the outbound call from the user line, and the call record arrives on the deal after the call ends.

### Recordings and transcripts join the call

When a Teams user records or transcribes an ad hoc call, Graph sends a notification for the new recording or transcript. Krokul attaches the recording link to the call record and stores the transcript text as a note under it. The manager reads what the client asked without replaying the call.

### Each Teams user maps to a Krokul user

An administrator matches Teams users to Krokul users once. Calls of a mapped user go to that user in Krokul, and calls from unknown numbers create a contact for the manager on duty with a task to qualify it.

## How to connect today

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Register an app in Microsoft Entra ID with the application permissions CallRecords.Read.All, CallRecordings.Read.All and CallTranscripts.Read.All, and have a tenant administrator grant consent. In Krokul, issue an API key scoped to contacts, deals, activities and tasks.
2. Create Graph subscriptions for communications/callRecords and communications/adhocCalls/getAllRecordings with your notification URL and a clientState value, and answer the validation request.
3. For each call, read the PSTN call log row, find the contact with contact/api-find by phone, write the call with activity/api-create and keep the call ID through externalRef/api-upsert.
4. Format phone numbers in your Krokul views as Teams call links with the number after 4:, so a click starts the call in Teams.

### For integrators

Call record notifications support application permissions only, so a tenant administrator approves the app once. No user sign-in is needed. A PSTN log query covers at most 90 days and returns pages of 1,000 rows. Recording and transcript subscriptions can cover the whole tenant or one user. On the Krokul side, call IDs live as external keys, and signed Krokul webhooks with a delivery log let a team chat or a report react to new call tasks.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul integrate with Microsoft Teams Phone?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Microsoft Teams Phone through Microsoft Graph and the Krokul API and webhooks. Outside calls, recordings and transcripts land on the contact and the deal.

### Is this the same as the Microsoft Teams page?

No. The Microsoft Teams page covers channel messages and deal cards. This page covers phone calls made and received with Teams Phone.

### How soon does a Teams call appear in Krokul?

After the call ends. Microsoft Graph creates the call record when the call is over, and Krokul writes it to the deal when the notification arrives.

### Can Krokul read transcripts of Teams phone calls?

Yes, when a user transcribes the call and the tenant allows Graph access to transcripts. An administrator can turn that access off, and then only the call and its recording reach Krokul.

## Limits

Numbers, calling plans, call queues, auto attendants and recording policies are managed in the Teams admin center. Microsoft Graph keeps a call record for 30 days, and recordings and transcripts stay in Microsoft 365 with a link in Krokul.
