# Looker Studio + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM has a community connector for Looker Studio. You add Krokul as a data source, paste a Krokul API key, pick a report or a register, and Looker Studio reads the fields straight from Krokul each time a chart needs data. Google Sheets and CSV exports remain for one-off analysis.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks.

## What your team gets

### A sales funnel that is always current

The Krokul data source in the funnel mode returns stage-to-stage conversion from the Krokul report engine. A Looker Studio funnel or bar chart shows it by month and pipeline, and the numbers match the Krokul dashboard because the same server calculates them.

### Deals and payments as two tables

One data source reads the deals register, another reads payments. Looker Studio blends them by the deal ID, so a chart compares signed amounts with money received per manager and per month.

### Custom fields as dimensions

The connector asks Krokul for the available fields through its schema step, and custom fields of deals and client companies arrive as their own dimensions. A segment or a region you track in Krokul becomes a filter control in the report without extra modelling.

### Reports for a client without access to Krokul

An agency or an owner shares a Looker Studio report built on the Krokul data source. The viewers see the charts, the Krokul key stays in the data source credentials, and the key scope decides which records the report may read.

## What moves between Looker Studio and Krokul

| Looker Studio | Krokul | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data source, report mode (getSchema, getData) | Report engine: `report/api-sources`, `report/api-run` | Krokul → Looker Studio | Each time a chart requests data |
| Data source, funnel and DSO mode | `report/api-conversion`, `report/api-stageDuration`, `report/api-dso` | Krokul → Looker Studio | Each time a chart requests data |
| Data source, register mode | Deals, client companies, contacts, documents, payments, tasks (`*/api-readList`) | Krokul → Looker Studio | Each time a chart requests data |
| Data source fields | Standard and custom fields of the chosen object | Krokul → Looker Studio | When you create or refresh the data source fields |
| Connector credentials (AuthType KEY) | Krokul API key with read scope | Looker Studio → Krokul | On every data request |
| Google Sheets connector | Dashboard widget exported to Google Sheets | Krokul → Sheets → Looker Studio | When someone exports the widget again |

## How to connect today

### Add the Krokul connector

1. In Krokul, create an API key with read scope for the objects you report on.
2. In Looker Studio, create a data source, search the connector gallery for Krokul and authorize the connector for your Google account.
3. Paste the Krokul key when the connector asks for it.
4. Choose the mode (report, funnel or register), the object and the period, then click Connect. Looker Studio lists the fields, including custom ones.
5. Build the charts. Each view of the report asks Krokul for fresh data within the data freshness setting of the data source.

### Sheets and files

1. For a single analysis, export a dashboard widget to Google Sheets or a register to CSV in Krokul and connect it with the Google Sheets or file upload connector of Looker Studio.

### For integrators

The connector calls the public Krokul API, so the call log in Krokul shows every request Looker Studio made and with which key. `report/api-sources` lists the sources, measures and dimensions the report engine knows, and the same list drives the connector configuration. A 429 from Krokul carries `Retry-After`, and the connector waits that long before it asks again.

## Questions and answers

### Is there a Krokul connector in Looker Studio?

Yes. Search for Krokul in the Looker Studio connector gallery, paste a Krokul API key and choose a report or a register.

### Do I need to export data from Krokul for my dashboards?

No. The connector reads Krokul directly. Exports to Google Sheets and CSV stay useful for one-off work and for sharing a fixed snapshot.

### Can people who view the report see data they cannot see in Krokul?

The report shows what the Krokul key in the data source can read. Use a key with the role and scope that match the audience of the report, for example a viewer key for a client.

### Are custom fields available in Looker Studio?

Yes. Custom fields of deals, client companies and contacts appear as dimensions or metrics, depending on their type in Krokul.

## Limits

The connector reads data and never writes to Krokul. Rows that a Krokul key may not see stay out of the data source, so a report built on an agent key shows that agent only.
