# Intercom + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Intercom. Contacts and client companies match Intercom users and companies, closed conversations land in the client feed as short summaries, and Intercom tickets appear in the client card in Krokul. The link runs through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato, or through the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n, Albato.

## What your team gets

### The Inbox shows the account behind each chat

A contact added in Krokul becomes a User in Intercom, and a client company becomes a Company with the user attached. When a person updates their email in the Messenger, the Krokul contact follows. An agent opening a conversation sees which client the person belongs to.

### Closed conversations in the client history

When an agent closes a Conversation, Krokul adds a short entry to the contact and client company feed with the author, the topic, the agent and a link to Intercom. The account manager learns what support solved before the next call.

### Intercom tickets beside the deals

A client files a Ticket in Intercom, for example a change request or a billing question. The ticket appears in the Krokul client card with its state, and a state change updates it. For change requests, the connector can also open a task for the account manager on the client deal.

### Paying clients get a tag after a won deal

A won deal adds a Tag to the deal contact in Intercom, such as the plan name. Intercom workflows then route that user straight to the account team.

3. Send each new contact to Intercom as a User and keep the Intercom ID on the Krokul contact through externalRef/api-upsert.
4. When Intercom reports a closed conversation, look up the person with contact/api-find and write a comment to the feed with activity/api-create.

**Triggers:** New Conversation; New Closed Conversation; New Conversation Rating; New Ticket; Updated Ticket; New User.

### For integrators

Intercom webhook topics include `conversation.user.created`, `conversation.admin.closed`, `ticket.created`, `ticket.state.updated` and `contact.user.created`. A receiver can write to Krokul through the public REST API the moment a topic fires, and store the Intercom ID as an external key on the Krokul record. Krokul marks its own events with `x-crm-event`, so one receiver handles both directions and skips loops.
