# Gong + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Gong. Krokul sends its client companies, contacts and deals to Gong through the Gong CRM API, so every recorded call lands on the right account and deal. When Gong finishes analyzing a call, Krokul logs it on the deal with the length, the recap, the next steps and a link back to the call in Gong.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n, Albato.

## What your team gets

### Krokul deals appear in Gong

Krokul registers as the CRM integration of your Gong workspace and uploads client companies as accounts, people as contacts and deals with stage, amount and owner. Later uploads carry only changed records. Gong matches each recorded call to its account and deal.

### An analyzed call is logged on the deal

A Gong automation rule fires a webhook as soon as a call finishes processing. Krokul checks the JWT signature, finds the people in the call by e-mail and writes a meeting record on their open deal with the title, start time, duration and the Gong call link. Nobody types notes after the meeting.

### Recap and next steps become work in Krokul

For each new call, Krokul asks Gong for the call highlights. The recap goes to the deal feed as a note, and each next step becomes a task for the deal owner with the call date as context. The manager edits the due dates and moves on.

### Calls from your phone system go to Gong for analysis

A call that Krokul logs from your telephony with a recording is uploaded to Gong as a new Call with its media and the participants. Gong transcribes it next to the video meetings it records itself, so coaching covers phone sales too.

### Proposals show up on the activity timeline

When Krokul creates a commercial proposal or an invoice for a deal, it adds a Content Shared event to the Gong activity timeline of that account. A reviewer in Gong sees which document the client received between two calls.

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato

1. Connect the Krokul app with a Krokul API key and Gong with credentials from your Gong technical administrator.
2. Start from the Gong trigger New Call in Zapier or Watch New Calls in Make and use the Krokul actions Find Contact and Add Activity to log the call on the deal.
3. Pair the Krokul trigger Document Created with Add a 'Content Shared' Event Into Gong's Activity Timeline.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Ask a Gong technical administrator for an access key and secret, and issue a Krokul API key that reads client companies, contacts and deals and writes activities and tasks.
2. Subscribe a Krokul webhook to clientCompany.created, contact.created and card.statusChanged, verify x-crm-signature, and upload the changed records with POST /v2/crm/entities.
3. In Gong, create an automation rule with the Fire webhook action and a signed JWT header that posts to your receiver.
4. For each call, resolve the deal through contact/api-find, write it with activity/api-create, read highlights from /v2/calls/extensive and add tasks with task/api-create.

**Triggers:** New Call; Watch New Calls.

**Actions:** Add a 'Content Shared' Event Into Gong's Activity Timeline; Add a 'Custom Action' Event Into Gong's Activity Timeline; Create a Call; Add a Call Media; Get a Call; List Calls.

### For integrators

Gong signs rule webhooks with an RS256 JWT that carries a SHA-256 hash of the body. The Gong API allows 3 calls per second and 10,000 calls per day per company, then answers 429 with Retry-After. Krokul keeps Gong call IDs with externalRef.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul integrate with Gong?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Gong through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato, and through the Krokul API and webhooks that work with the Gong API.

### Do I need a Gong partnership to connect?

No. Gong opens its API to customers. A technical administrator of your Gong workspace creates the access key and secret in the API settings, and the features you can use follow your Gong plan.

### Are Gong recordings and transcripts copied into Krokul?

No. They stay in Gong. Krokul keeps the call record, the recap, the next steps and a link to the call.

## Limits

Recordings, transcripts, trackers and scorecards stay in Gong. Krokul keeps the deal, the client company and a short record of each call with a link to Gong. A Gong workspace accepts one CRM source at a time, so Krokul takes that place when you connect it.
