# Freshdesk + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Freshdesk. Client companies and contacts match Freshdesk companies and contacts, Freshdesk tickets appear in the client card and feed in Krokul, and a ticket tagged for sales becomes a task for the account manager. You set it up with the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato, or with the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n, Albato.

## What your team gets

### Clients exist in Freshdesk before they write

A client company added in Krokul becomes a Company in Freshdesk, and each Krokul contact becomes a Contact linked to it. When an agent fixes a phone number in Freshdesk, the same number appears on the person in Krokul. The first ticket already shows the right company.

### Freshdesk tickets in the account history

Each Ticket from a matched contact appears in the Krokul client card with its ID, subject, status, priority and a link. New tickets and status changes add entries to the client feed. The account manager knows about an open problem before calling about a renewal.

### A tagged ticket becomes a sales task

An agent tags a Ticket when the client asks about an upgrade or a new order. The connector creates a task for the account manager on the client in Krokul, and adds a note to the ticket that the task is taken. When the manager closes it, a second note tells the agent.

### Instant updates through an automation rule

Krokul reads ticket changes from the Freshdesk API on a schedule. Teams that want updates at once add an automation rule with the action Trigger Webhook on ticket creation and updates, pointed at the Krokul connector address.

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n or Albato

1. Connect the Krokul app with an API key.
2. Pair the Krokul trigger Company Created or Contact Created with the Freshdesk action Create Company or Create Contact.
3. From Freshdesk, start with New Ticket or Update Ticket, find the contact with the Krokul search by email, and run Create Ticket, Create Task or Create Comment.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Issue a Krokul API key with read and write scopes for client companies, contacts, tasks and activities.
2. Subscribe a webhook to clientCompany.created and contact.created, check the x-crm-signature header, create the matching Company or Contact in Freshdesk and save its ID with externalRef/api-upsert.
3. Point a Freshdesk automation rule with Trigger Webhook at your receiver. For each ticket, find the person with contact/api-find and add the ticket subject, status and link to the client feed through activity/api-create.
4. When the ticket carries the sales tag, create the follow-up for the account manager with task/api-create.

**Triggers:** New Ticket; Update Ticket; New Ticket Note; New Contact; Update Contact.

**Actions:** Create Company; Create Contact; Create Ticket; Update Ticket; Add Notes to a Ticket; Find Contact.

### For integrators

Trigger Webhook in Freshdesk automation rules is limited to 1,000 calls per hour, and a failed call is retried every 30 minutes, up to 48 attempts. A receiver should be idempotent and keyed by ticket ID. On the Krokul side, the public REST API, external keys for the Freshdesk IDs, signed webhooks with `x-crm-delivery` for deduplication and a sandbox company make the same build safe.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul integrate with Freshdesk?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Freshdesk through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato, and through its API and webhooks.

### Which Freshdesk plan do I need for Trigger Webhook?

Freshdesk says Trigger Webhook is available on the Growth, Pro and Enterprise plans for accounts that signed up after December 2025. Older accounts follow the legacy plan list in the Freshdesk help article. The connector works without it, on a schedule.

### Does Krokul show the whole Freshdesk conversation?

No. Krokul shows the ticket with its status, priority and a link. Agents and the thread stay in Freshdesk.

### Should I use Krokul tickets or Freshdesk tickets?

Answer clients in one place. Teams on Freshdesk keep replies there and see the tickets in Krokul. Krokul tickets with SLA deadlines suit teams without a help desk.

## Limits

Agents, replies, ticket threads and SLA policies stay in Freshdesk. Krokul keeps the sales record of the same client and shows the ticket list beside it.
