# Fireflies.ai + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Fireflies.ai. When Fireflies.ai finishes a transcript, Krokul logs the meeting on the deal of the people who attended, adds the summary as a note and turns action items into tasks. Krokul can also invite the Fireflies.ai notetaker to a meeting set in a task and send phone call recordings to Fireflies.ai for transcription.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n.

## What your team gets

### The transcript lands on the right deal

Fireflies.ai sends the `meeting.transcribed` webhook with the meeting ID. Krokul reads that transcript through the GraphQL API, takes the organizer e-mail and the attendee addresses, and finds the matching Krokul contacts. The meeting is logged on their open deal with title, date, duration and the transcript URL.

### Summary and action items become notes and tasks

On `meeting.summarized`, Krokul copies the overview into the deal feed. Each action item from the Fireflies.ai summary becomes a Krokul task for the deal owner, linked to the same deal. Follow-ups stop living in someone's inbox.

### A task sends the notetaker to the meeting

A manager plans a demo as a Krokul task with a Google Meet or Zoom link. At the start time Krokul calls the Fireflies.ai `addToLiveMeeting` mutation with the meeting link, the task title and the expected attendees, and the bot joins to record.

### Phone recordings get transcripts too

When Krokul logs a call with a recording, it sends the audio URL to Fireflies.ai through `uploadAudio` with the Krokul call ID as `client_reference_id`. The finished transcript comes back with that reference, so Krokul attaches the summary to the exact call record.

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier, Make or n8n

1. Connect the Krokul app with a Krokul API key and Fireflies.ai with its API key from the Fireflies.ai integrations page.
2. In Zapier, start from the Fireflies.ai trigger New Meeting and use the Krokul actions Find Contact and Add Activity to log it on the deal.
3. In Make, run Get a Transcript for the new meeting and create Krokul tasks from its action items.
4. Pair a Krokul call with a recording with the Zapier action Upload Audio/Video.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Issue a Krokul API key that reads contacts and deals and writes activities and tasks.
2. In Fireflies.ai, add a Webhooks V2 endpoint with a signing secret and subscribe it to meeting.transcribed and meeting.summarized.
3. Verify X-Hub-Signature, answer with 200, then query transcript(id) at api.fireflies.ai/graphql for attendees, summary and transcript_url.
4. Find the people with contact/api-find, log the meeting with activity/api-create, add action items with task/api-create and keep the meeting ID through externalRef/api-upsert.

**Triggers:** New Meeting; AI Skill.

**Actions:** Upload Audio/Video; Find Recent Meeting; Find Meeting by ID; Find Meeting by Details; Get a Transcript; List Transcripts.

### For integrators

Fireflies.ai signs Webhooks V2 deliveries with an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body in `X-Hub-Signature`. The receiver has 30 seconds. Answer first, work later. Failed deliveries are retried up to 5 times, and a resend after an edited transcript carries `reprocessed_at`. The GraphQL API takes a Bearer key, and `addToLiveMeeting` has its own limit of 3 requests per 20 minutes per user.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul integrate with Fireflies.ai?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Fireflies.ai through the Krokul app in Zapier, Make and n8n, and through the Krokul API and webhooks together with the Fireflies.ai GraphQL API.

### How does Krokul know which deal a meeting belongs to?

Krokul compares the e-mail addresses of the Fireflies.ai attendees and organizer with Krokul contacts and logs the meeting on their open deal. A meeting with no known attendee waits in the log for a manager to assign it.

### Is the full transcript copied into Krokul?

No. Krokul stores the summary, the action items and a link to the transcript. The full text and the recording stay in Fireflies.ai.

### What if Fireflies.ai updates a transcript later?

Fireflies.ai can resend the webhook with `reprocessed_at`, and Krokul refreshes the note on the same meeting record by the stored meeting ID.

## Limits

Audio, video, full transcripts and AskFred threads stay in Fireflies.ai. Krokul keeps the meeting record, the summary, the tasks and a link to the transcript. How many API calls Fireflies.ai accepts depends on the Fireflies.ai plan.
