# Claude + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM has a built-in MCP server at `https://app.krokul.com/mcp`, and Claude connects to it as a custom connector. You sign in to Krokul, choose the company and the permissions, and Claude then reads and writes deals, contacts, tasks and reports with your own role in that company.

**Status:** Built in. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make, n8n.

## What your team gets

### Ask who owes money and draft the reminders

Claude calls the tool `client_company_read_debtors` and gets the overdue invoices by client company. You ask for a short reminder per client in your own words, review the drafts in the chat and send them from your mail.

### Log a call in one sentence

After a call you tell Claude what was agreed. It finds the deal with `card_read_list`, adds a comment with `activity_create` and sets the next step with `task_create`. Claude asks you to approve a tool call before it runs, unless you chose Allow always for that tool.

### Read the pipeline without building a report

The tools `report_conversion` and `report_stage_duration` return stage-to-stage conversion and the average days deals spend in each. Claude puts them side by side and points at the stage where deals stall, using numbers the Krokul server calculated.

### Try a change before it happens

Every write tool accepts the flag `dryRun`. The Krokul server answers with the route and the body it would send and writes nothing, so you can check a bulk update with `card_bulk_update` before you run it for real.

## What moves between Claude and Krokul

| Claude | Krokul | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Read tool call (`card_read_list`, `contact_find`, `client_company_read_debtors`) | Deals, contacts, debtors | Krokul → Claude | When you ask about your data |
| Write tool call (`task_create`, `activity_create`, `card_update_status`) | Tasks, comments, deal stages | Claude → Krokul | After you approve the tool call in Claude |
| Report tool call (`report_dso`, `report_conversion`) | Reports calculated by Krokul | Krokul → Claude | When you ask for analysis |
| Custom connector sign-in (OAuth) | Your user, company and approved permissions | Claude → Krokul | Once, then the token renews itself |
| Tool list | Public API routes allowed by the permissions and your role | Krokul → Claude | Each time Claude connects |

## How to connect today

### Claude on the web and Claude Desktop

1. Open Customize → Connectors, click + Add and choose Add custom connector.
2. Enter the URL `https://app.krokul.com/mcp` and click Add.
3. Click Connect. Krokul opens its sign-in page: sign in, check the app name and the return address, choose the company and clear the permissions Claude does not need.
4. Approve. In a chat, use + → Connectors to turn Krokul on for that conversation.
5. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector in Organization settings → Connectors first, then each member clicks Connect and signs in with their own Krokul account.

### Claude Code

1. Run `claude mcp add --transport http krokul https://app.krokul.com/mcp`.
2. Inside Claude Code run `/mcp`, choose krokul and finish the sign-in in the browser.

**Actions:** Send Message; Upload File; List Files.

### For integrators

The MCP server uses the same gateway as the public API, so each tool call passes the permission check, the rate limit and the call log. The Krokul OAuth server supports PKCE with S256, client ID metadata documents and dynamic registration, with a one-hour access token and a 30-day refresh token that rotates. For headless agents, a company API key in the `Authorization` header works with the same `/mcp` address.

## Questions and answers

### Does Claude see everything in Krokul?

No. Claude acts as you. Krokul reads your role in the company on every call and limits the tools to the permissions you approved. If an admin lowers your role or removes you from the company, the connection narrows or stops with the next call.

### Which Claude plans can add Krokul?

Anthropic offers custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Free accounts can add one custom connector.

### Can Claude delete records in Krokul?

Not through a personal connection. Remove, merge, cancel, archive and refund tools are not offered to it. Write tools that create or change records are available if you approved those permissions.

### How do I revoke access?

In Krokul, open your profile and revoke the app in the connected apps block. Access ends at once, and Claude has to ask you to sign in again.

## Limits

Destructive tools such as remove, merge, cancel, archive and refund stay closed to a Claude connection. Those actions belong to a person in the Krokul interface. Claude works inside one Krokul company per connection.
