# Accounting software + Krokul CRM

Krokul CRM integrates with Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage Accounting, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP Business One. A client company becomes a customer in the books, invoices issued in Krokul become sales documents there, and payments posted by the accountant settle the invoice on the deal.

## What your team gets

### One customer record from the first deal

When a manager adds a client company, the connector creates the customer in the accounting system and keeps its ID on the company as an external key. Every later quote, invoice or sales order for that client lands on the same customer.

### Invoice from the won deal

In Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage Accounting, Zoho Books and FreshBooks, an invoice issued from a won deal becomes a sales invoice with the same lines and due date. NetSuite and Business Central receive a sales order and bill it under their own rules. The number and status from the books show on the Krokul document.

### Payment in the books, debt gone in the deal

A payment recorded or reconciled by the accountant reaches Krokul as a payment fact on the matching invoice. The client company debt drops, and `invoice.paid` fires once the invoice is covered in full, so sales stops chasing a client who has paid.

## What to know

The accounting system stays the book of record. Ledger, tax, bills, expenses, bank reconciliation and reports live there. Krokul keeps the sales work behind each invoice. Some services send webhooks and others are read on a schedule, so the delay depends on the service.

## Questions and answers

### Which system owns the invoice total?

The accounting system. Krokul sends the lines, the books apply their tax settings, and Krokul shows the resulting total and open balance on the document.

### Can Krokul record a payment and send it to the books?

Yes, when the connection names Krokul as the payment owner, as teams that log bank transfers in Krokul do with FreshBooks. Each connection has one payment owner, so no payment is entered twice.

### My accounting software has no native connector. What then?

Use the Krokul app in Zapier, Make, n8n and Albato. The events `document.created` and `payment.received` start a flow, and the app records payments and stores external keys.
