# Aircall + Krokul CRM

Yes. Krokul CRM integrates with Aircall. Every Aircall call is logged on the contact and the open deal with its length, recording and voicemail, the agent sees the Krokul deal on an Insights Card while the phone rings, and a click on a phone number in Krokul starts the call in Aircall. The link runs through the Krokul app in Zapier or Make, or through the Krokul API and webhooks.

**Status:** Via API and webhooks. **Automation platforms:** Zapier, Make.

## What your team gets

### The agent sees the deal before answering

Aircall sends `call.ringing_on_agent` when a call reaches an agent. Krokul finds the caller by phone and posts an Insights Card to the call with the contact name, the client company, the open deal and its stage. The agent greets the customer by name and knows which order the call is about.

### Every finished call goes to the deal feed

On `call.ended` Krokul writes a record with the direction, number, agent and duration on the contact and the open deal. The recording and voicemail links come with `call.comm_assets_generated`, and Krokul adds a player for them to the same record.

### A voicemail creates a call-back task

The event `call.voicemail_left` means the caller reached no one. Krokul creates a task for the manager of that contact, due the same day, with the voicemail attached. Unknown numbers go to the person you chose in the connector settings.

### Click to call from Krokul

The manager clicks a phone number on the contact card. Krokul asks Aircall to dial that number from the user line in the Aircall app, and the finished call comes back to the deal as a record.

### Contacts stay the same in both places

A contact created in Krokul appears in Aircall with its name, phones and email, and a contact added in Aircall reaches Krokul. Agents see names instead of bare numbers in both apps.

## How to connect today

### Krokul app in Zapier or Make

1. Connect the Krokul app with an API key.
2. Use Aircall triggers such as Call Ended or Call Voicemail Left with Krokul actions such as Add Activity or Create Task.
3. Use the Krokul trigger Contact Created with the Aircall action Create Contact, so the agent sees a name on the next call.

### Custom flow through the Krokul API and webhooks

1. Issue a Krokul API key with scopes for contacts, activities and tasks, and register a webhook in Aircall for call.ended and call.voicemail_left.
2. On each Aircall event, look up the caller with contact/api-find by phone and add the call to the contact feed through activity/api-create.
3. For a voicemail, open a call-back task with task/api-create for the manager of that contact.
4. Subscribe a Krokul webhook to contact.created, check the x-crm-signature header with your secret, and create the same contact in Aircall.

**Triggers:** Call Ended; Call Answered; Call Voicemail Left; Call Ringing on Agent; Call Assets Generated; Contact Created.

**Actions:** Create Contact; Update Contact; Show Insights Card; Add Comment to Call; Start Outbound Call.

### For integrators

A call produces several Aircall events, so deduplicate by the Aircall call ID and store it as an external key of the call record. The public REST API of Krokul accepts call records as activities of type `call` with `durationSec` and `recordingUrl`, the same types the app uses, and contact search by phone. Krokul webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256 and keep a delivery log.

## Questions and answers

### Does Krokul integrate with Aircall?

Yes. Krokul integrates with Aircall through the Krokul app in Zapier and Make, and through its API and webhooks. Calls, recordings and voicemails land on deals, agents get an Insights Card with the deal, and calls start from Krokul.

### Which Aircall event logs the call?

`call.ended` logs the call itself. Recording and voicemail links arrive later with `call.comm_assets_generated`, and Krokul adds them to the same record.

### Do agents need to open Krokul during a call?

No. The Insights Card in the Aircall app shows the contact, the company and the open deal while the phone rings.

### Which Aircall plan do I need?

Aircall documents some API features as depending on the plan and add-ons. Check the account plan with Aircall before connecting.

## Limits

Aircall stays the phone system. Numbers, call routing, queues and the Aircall app for agents live there. Some Aircall API features depend on the Aircall plan and add-ons of the account.
